He has the Y87 package, his came with 3.42's from the factory, his speedo is tuned for that, same as mine. Btw 118 top speed here

jmeccia, my speed limiter might be a lil off, but not off like you think it is. 108mph!; sorry dawg, but I was going faster than that. You gotta realize your car is a 96, mine is 2000. Things have changed since then. 99v6redbird, you are correct sir. 3.42 stock; not aftermarket...
The official top speed of my 3.4 is (according to my german car-license) 129mph (207kmh), but I hit 137mph (220kmh) easily on the autobahn - one time even 140... :D
A 3.8 should be able to do much more (+50hp) - but, ok, only without the limiter... ;)
