    Two more thoughts.

    1. If you run a high overlap cam, you may still get enough unburnt fuel to pull it off.

    2. The spark plug needs more than 12v to get a good spark. Ideally you would put a cheap coil back there, and toggle it on and off when you want a spark.

Yea- I was gonna say- you definitely need a coil back there b4 the spark plug.

FOR THIS ONE, ALL YOU NEED IS A CAR, A SPARKPLUG, IGNITION WIRE AND A SIMPLE
TOGGLE SWITCH. INSTALL THE SPARK PLUG INTO THE LAST FOUR OR FIVE INCHES OF THE
EXHAUST PIPE BY DRILLING A HOLE THAT THE PLUG CAN SCREW INTO EASILY. ATTACH
THE WIRE (REGULAR INSULATED WIRE) TO ONE SIDE OF THE SWITCH, AND TO THE SPARK
PLUG. THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SWITCH IS ATTACHED TO THE POSITIVE BATTERY
TERMINAL. WITH THE CAR RUNNING, SIMPLY HIT THE SWITCH AND WATCH THE FLAMES!
BE CAREFUL THAT NOBODY'S BEHIND YOU. THE FLAMES CAN SHOOT OUT TWENTY FEET.

Got that off a "bomb making site" hahaha.. damn the internet

Doesn't work, the battery doesn't put enough voltage to spark well, coils put out voltage in the thousands... the easiest way is run a jumper wire from a coil terminal to a plug in the end of the exhaust, there are not many toggle switches that can handle that kind of power though... then you adjust your tps (adjust it so it thinks the throttle is open wider than it really is) to make the car run rich or just pull a plug wire to get lots of unburned gas in your exhaust... also your cat will absorb most of the unburned fuel, so you might want to gut it....

I had a 69 baja bug that needed a valve adjustment.....I could rap it out in any gear and when I let off FLAMES BABY!!!! They didnt "shoot" out but it made a good show non-the less.
