has any one else had a problem with the pacesetters on the 3.8 getting in the way of the stock heat sheild and the wires and their routing?
what can i do to get better protection and or sheilding for my wires? so they dont rub or come off again or even worse, melt?

yes, for one, you cant use stock wires. 45* boots are needed. second, routing wont be that different but you dont need to keep the wires away from the header. i didnt realize you could use the stock heat shields on the headers

i just put them (headers) on today and left the stock heat shields and wires in there, but the #4 shield had to be bent and the #6 to, but when i was cruising down the 101 in a severly bumpy area they freakin popped off!!!!! so i burt the skin off part of my thumb pushing them back in and went home. now i wonder...
and about the 45 degree boots, where can i get them and can i get them in an upgraded wire?

yes, you'll have to get 45* booted wires. #4 spark plug is mainly the whole problem with the header so close. i recommend MSD wires. you can get them from our sponsors like www.ftpp.net also, i would be a good idea, if you have the money, to get boot covers and also wire covers, but boot covers definatly. Agreed, 45* wires are a must! And that #4 wire is easiest run off the plug, DOWN, and then towards the front of the block.
