  • S-pipe Info

Has anyone purchased a catback for a 93-95 LT1 car? The reason for my question, is that many people are buying catbacks and having to also fab up an S-pipe. The single cat LT1's had their cat in the same location as the V6, right in front of the passanger seat. I believe the piping for the single cat LT1 systems should extend all the way to the cat for that reason.

If you scroll down to see the pictures you will see what I am talking about.

The dual cat LT1 and LS1 cars have y-pipe that replaces the s-pipe and extends further back. That is why systems for those cars stop short. Couldn't the single cat systems be fitted to the V6 with less hassle then a fabricated S-pipe?

Some catbacks come with the complete pipe(S pipe and all) but some don't.

The single cat lt1 catbacks should be a direct fit. I believe the yrs were 93-95.
