After putting the resistor in to advance the timing, should I now be using the higher octane gas instead of 87. Someone advised me it's dangerous to advance timing with low octane due to chance of detonation. Should I up the octane?

hey firebirdgt, ok fine...but my question was with the timing advance, is it safe to run low octane fuel?
no offense to you or anything...but it seems like most people don't read posts very well because I never asked if the mod was useful or not
