it makes the ricer buzz when loud revving and pedal to the metal acceleration
every thing on the car is secure and welded in the system.
so is my problem normal?
is there a way to get rid of it with out going all stock?
is it just the flow master?
it is normal. no matter what muffler you have, you will never get rid of the buzz on our v6s. you can switch to some mufflers to make it less noticable but it will always be there. i have a flow with full 3" exhaust threw a catco and headers. its not that bad. im going to be putting in a bullet muffler in my ipipe and i think it will go almost away for good :D
DO you have a custom intermediate pipe? If so, and if what you are describing isn't just typical rasp, it could be that pipe is rattling against the fuel tanks heat shield... or maybe somewhere else along its path.
when i put my car sounds cat on, i got some crazy sounds now when i rev it up high, sounds like somethings rubbing on the metal, but i think its just the flowmaster muffler?

youre not describing rasp. all mufflers on a v6 will have rasp. rattles are common when you put on exhaust parts too, but thats from poor/inaccurate installation. any muffler can rattle if its not installed right. it just needs some repositioning.
its not a rattle its the ricer buzz, like a lawn mower or angry bee. every thing is tight and secure, its the muffler, but the last one i had did it too
Yes, yes it does.
Rasp is pretty bad w/ the flowmaster, if you want the raspness to go away, get some serious mods and voila problem solved. It's that easy!

Actually all you may need to do is just keep it for a while and let it break in. mine sounds good now and the rasp is not noticeable unless I'm flooring it and it sounds good almost even then

what other mods? like a cam, chip?(dont want one),
i guess ill suck it up and take loochy's advise and deal with it
My problem with flowmaster was the interior noise. It was just too much for me, so I changed to a Hooker muffler with dual/ dual slash tips. Definite improvement as far as the interior noise (especially at cruising speed), and those tips are just plain bada$$.

Have you replaced your cat yet? A highflow cat will help. I have 0 rasp with my exhaust but went for the B&B and not the flowmaster. I heard a lot of complaints about sound with the flowmaster and none about B&B (except the cost).

I like my Flowmaster. It was hi pitched when I first put it on but has mellowed out alot since then. It sounds deeps now and isnt a high pitched sound when at hi RPMs. It doesnt sound like a grunty v8 but doesnt sound like a honda.
