i have a question for the models with the 2 rear o2 sensor setup. My understanding with the o2 sims is that you buy one for the sensor before the cat and one for the sensor right after. are these sensor identical, or is one just for the sensor before cat and one just for the sensor after cat?
if they are: would it be possible to jsut split the wires coming off an o2 sim and run that to both rear sensors and save yourself 50 bucks?
or is there something about the way these work that i just dont understand?
i dont believe so. im know that fasttoys.net sells them in pairs. on some of our cars i believe there is no sensor right before the cat. maybe thats what youre thinking of?
You only need to put an O2 sim on the post cat sensor...not the pre cat one. The pairs are for the V8's with dual cats, ZZP has single ones for cheap that worked on my car.

the pre-cat O2 adjusts fuel trims. I busted my sensor trying to get it out of the old Y-pipe when I did headers and drove around for a day or two with a plug in the sensor bung. The car ran WAY rich, to the point where it made you almost sick riding in it.

I think you are confusing pre-cat sensor with manifold sensors...some fbodies have 4 02 sensors total.

mine runs on 4 sensors. with the pre-cat sensor removed, the car ran INCREDIBLY rich. Perhaps Im wrong, but replacing the sensor (or putting one in where it had been deleted) corrected the problem.
