Hey hey hey! In Dec. 03 I got a Flowmaster 40 series muffler on my camaro and to make a long story short, I just want to get stock exhaust put back onto my maro.
Issue #1 - They muffler is welded on and the left side hangs down at an angle that make the car look soooo cheap. To be honest, it is actually embarrassing when I hang out with my f-body club friends and we work on my car!
#2 - The exhaust is just tooo loud; a little sound is okay, but it sounds like doodoo.
#3 - When I go over the slightest of bumps on roads, the actual muffler smacks against my undercarriage.
I want to either call Billy Graham's f-body salvage in Alabama, or a local salvage yard and see if they have any stock rear exhaust sections. How much do you think the salvage yards should offer for the inlet pipe, muffler, and outlet pipe (rear section)? What would be a fair price? Do you think it will be hard to find one in good shape? Thanks a whole bunch, because this is a big concern of mine!
