You'll like it. It may make you sound like a ricer at higher rpm's, but I don't know for sure. If you get it, leave it open allways.2001 Arctic White Firebird
T-Tops, 3.42 rear gear stock
Mods:K&N Air Filter,Whisper Air Induction Lid, maf screen removed, raised air box, Kumho Ecsta 712 255-50-ZR16 tires, BMR stb
Mods not installed yet: FTRA, SLP Lsd/Differential cover
Near Future Mods: HPP3, GMMG 3\" Exhaust , 1LE Swaybars, Transgo Shift Kit, MSD-DIS-4 w/ Accel Coil-Packs, Turquoise Blue Neon Underbody Kit, BMR Adj. I had a cut out on my car a while back. My experiense was it made me lose a lot of low end but helped on the high end. The reason I got a cut out was because I had a flowmaster muffler which I really didn't like. It is much better than a flowmaster(in my opinion). At least you get some sort of performance out of a cut out. I got really sick of the cut out(obnoxious and blattie) and decided to stop being a tight azz and bought a borla catback. I'm really happy with the sound and the performance. Therefore you should have cutout welded on and if you don't like it don't worry because it is cheap to install or just close back up. BTW, if you close it back up it won't affect your current set up. Also, I ain't capp'n on flowmasters but they just weren't me.Good Luck. ;)Red 1999 Firebird M5
Whisper Lid,Borla Catback,K&N,Dual Friction Center Force Clutch,Hurst Shifter w/Lou\'s Short Stick,!FRA,Suncoast Ramair hood,160 Thermo,!maf,Chrome ZO6 Wheels, Painted Calipers, CIA Headers, Taylor Wires, NGK Spark Plugs, 3\" Catco, Jet Chip Stage II, BMR STB, LCA, PHR, SFC, Fan Switch, FTRA
Old Dyno Numbers: 183 RWHP, 217 RWTRQ
http://community.webshots.com/user/redsixer
