I was wondering what the intake/outake pipe dimensions on the stock cat for a 1998 V6 Camaro were. The cat will be removed and replaced with a straight pipe, but I need to know if the intake/outake has any size change (i.e. 2.0 -> 2.5 etc.) Also, where is a good place to get a reasonable price on an O2 Simulator. Well since you asked, I will correct you my portly friend. The cat is 3in. in and 2.25in. out.

You will need some kind of reducer to go from 3 to 2.25 unless you replace the piping after where the CAT now is, I.E. the S pipe, I pipe, etc.
