  • Texas Speed Mandrel X pipe

Ok I think I finally found the exhaust system I want to go with, its on the TSP website, the 3 inch mandrel bent x pipe with bullet mufflers. I need opinions on this please, it's somewhat expensive but not out of my price range. It's not stainless steel, which I'm kind of hesitant about, it's 3 inches on an x pipe so I'm wondering if that will be TOO much flow. Will I be able to get this put on my F body v6 at an exhaust shop? If I don't go with this then I'm probably going with the SLP loudmouth, so opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

It'll take the exhaust shop a bit of work to make it fit, but I'd love to see it on a V6 car!! If I wasnt about to get married and had a little extra money laying around, I'd be all over it. And I agree, for the normal car without a healthy heads/cam setup and power adder, it might be a bit much flow. It could easily kill your low end power. I'd say go with the normal Rumbler setup.

yeah, its just too much. Timbo has true duals and i think he is running only 2.25 or 2.5

          Heads/Cam and a power adder.

Ok I know what heads are. What's a Cam and a power adder and what's the best to go with there?

please tell me you are kidding...
power adder = nitrous, turbo, supercharger
i dont feel like explaining a cam to you right now. i think with a twin turbo setup this would be optimal though, the turbos would add enough boost and backpressure to really take advantage of this.
