I'm getting ready to buy a new exhaust for my car but I have no idea which one to get. I was originally looking at the SLP Loudmouth but I'm not sure if it would fit good where it's for an LS1. So then I started looking at Magnaflow and Flowmaster and now I have no idea, will someone please help me decide?????

i've heard flowmaster doesn't sound too good at higher RMPs, and can also be kinda restrictive until you have complete exhaust work, from the headers on back. magnaflow i've heard is good, but i personally don't think it's loud enough (i like it loud). and the loudmouth will fit fine if you get the LT1 install kit. i was considering the loudmouth or magnaflow, but then i started looking into the TSP rumbler, which i think i'm going to get.1996 Pontiac <a href=\"http://www.fullthrottlev6.com\" target=\"_blank\">Firebird</a> <br />Black, 3.8L A4

Magnaflow sounds pretty good, its not too loud but when you get on it it screams. I thought this "loss of low end torque" issue was solved LONG ago on these boards? It's been proven that you don't LOSE any kind of power by putting bigger pipes on your car, the powerband shifts upward so it might FEEL like you lost some low end but in fact you've only gained quite a bit of top end. If you dynoed your setup before and after putting on duals or a 3" system in general you'd see that the torque curve is much smoother and still higher than before.
