  • Sound clip of custom (no muffler) exhaust if someone can help

I dont have any webspace to upload the .wav file. I know alot of people have wanted to hear what it sounds like. I have it revving from 1500 to around 3000 RPMs with resonated 2 1/2 inch tips. Its got a really nice sound i believe. The guy added a ypipe an custom bent some pipes really nice where the muffler was (pics in the future). But if any of yall can host it just lemme know and ill email ya the file. Thanks!

Thanks for the hook up on that Toast. I really dont think that the open exhaust sounds bad. Still have the 2 1/4 pipe. Should get a total new tone when i get the headers and go up to 2 1/2. I think the resonator tips really help to tone it done too.

what do you have done to it?

Sounds fairly good, but it's distant sounding as if the microphone was a tad too far away.

Its all stock except for the exhaust that i have done. But now that i have found "my mechanic" someone i can really trust with my ride, Mods will be coming along at a descent rate. I think that i should have gotten regular tips though because it starts to sound a little ricey after about 4000 rpms. But the next big thing is gonna be the SLP CAI (suggested by mechanic) and hes gonna bump up my fuel pressure for me. He said thatll help alot on the topend. But as for sound quality, it was recorded onto a tape player and then played into my cpu mic. That prolly explains the distant sound.

oh! my bad! its all stock 2 1/4 inch pipe. stock mainfolds....stock cat...only thing is the dual out (y87) exhaust was removed and ypipe and custom bended 2 1/4 inch pipe and two resonated tips were added in its place (no muffler). It should sound alot better when headers, hi flow cat, and 2.5 inch pipes are in there.
