  • Paging those with Borla Adj. Cat-back

When I first got the exhaust, everything was nice and tight and stayed (about 15 monthes ago). Now I have to tighten the flange before the muffler (the cut-out type thing) every week or it comes loose and rattles like a mug. Anyone else had this problem or know how to solve it?

When I purchased my Borla (used), the threaded holes in the flange were broken. I use bolt/lock washer/lock nut combos to hold the two pieces together and have no problems with them coming apart. :D

    FWIW... ;)

Mine stayed tight for 2 years. Then I attempted to install an electronic cut-out and found the bolts in the threaded holes rusted and would not come apart.

Long story short. I had to drill out the bolts and installed bolt/lock washer/lock nut combos like Jason did. Eveything is still tight!
