Those with 3" exhaust

Ok, I have decided that I am going to go to my grandfathers house and put my I-pipe on myself and have my grandfather do the welding. With the exception of modifying the inlet, did any of you with 3" I-pipes run into any problems anywhere? Was there a problem with the over axle piece fitting correctly? Did you have to remove anything at all and put it back on when you were done? Did you have to remove anything and leave it off?

BTW, my pipe is 2.75", but I thought I would be better off asking the 3" guys this question since there are more of you with 3" than with 2.75".

I didn't really have any problems... it looked like my 3" I-Pipe would hit the tunnel brace so I took it off since it looked worthless anyways.

No problems here really. At first it was slightly vibrating against the under body in a spot but thats because when they put it on they didn't check to see if it needed adjusted.

I took my tunnel brace off when I did my tranny, and left it off also. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have a 3 inch catback and just slid everything right in.
No problems at all.
