• what's the best exhaust for a 3.8?

i need some opinions. what is the best cat back for a 2000 3.8? i want a system that makes a better sound but isn't too obnoxious. if anyone has sound clips that would be great.

Performance wise theyre all very comparable - I seriously think you'll gain the same hp regardless of what you choose so long its 100% 3" cat to muffler. The twin pipes out the back don't matter a whole lot 2.25 or 2.5 is fine there.

Soundwise they all sound different but similar. Many board members like the flowmaster system, the hooker system, and the edelbrock system. You can install a LS1 system like a GMMG so long you buy the SLP S pipe (LT1 Install Adaptor) for $70 or have an S pipe made

if that's the case, go Dynomax.

As for the best muffler, that's highly opinionated.
