Ok, well in a previous post in here, I said that my 3.8L flowmaster cat-back has been having a rattle problem. I checked it today, and the cat-back is not hitting anything when it rattles, so the cat-back is defective.

I bought it over two months ago, but Flowmaster has a warranty for 1 year. So I am going to return it soon. Now, I want to get the 2.5" Flowmaster System that DOES NOT have the resonator on it, because I do not have a cat on my car. I also wanted to get Pacesetter Headers.

    Now for my question....

Should I get the 95-97 3.8L Flowmaster Kit (The 2.5" System with no resonator), since I'll have Headers and no cat?

first have you checked your exhaust hangers? mine on my stocker were what caused a rattle on mine. that said, i think you could go with the 2.5. but if you are putting headers on why on earth would you put a 2.5 on. get the 3" and get more perfomance gains from you headers. they wont do as much with the 2.5.

I don't want a 3" system because I will not any power adder of any kind. My car doesn't spend most of it's time up top. I am putting headers on for sound.
