  • Exhaust tip Question

This probably sounds simple, but if I have a muffler with 3" outlets, can I use tips with 2.5" inlets? Can a exhaust shop flare the exhaust pipes so the tips and muffler will work?

    Thanks

They make 3" to 2.5" reducers... sell them at AutoZone. Or just take it to the shop and let them take care of it... any shop should do it.

just some advice for the muffler shop, dont be desceraged if they give you crap. muffler shops tend to have a problem w/ not doing what they are told. especially us v6 guys
