headers leaking on collectors. I've tighten mine all the way up to where it couldn't tighten up anymore and I still hear a tink like a pebble in an empty can. Is there any gaskets or any solution for this problem?

Hey Matt from Lubbock ;) Do you have this problem with your headers? Headers sound great with my cut-out open. :D It only get really, really RICEY @ WOTs but really rumbly all through the RPMs on slow acceleration.

I ran out of thread to tighten em anymore...I put a bigger nut on first then tightened the regular nut down over it as much as I could and it hasn't leaked.

What size of that nut you used?

It really doesn't matter what size it is...just make sure it can slip over the bolt...I think mine was about 3/4in. thick.
You could probably use a few thick washers to do the job also...just anything to let it tighten it down harder.

You would have to have a good deal of washers though...because I needed to get it A LOT tighter.

I bought some new bolts that have threads all the way, so I can tighten them as much as I want. Mine still leak, but I'm afraid of tightening them so much that the 2 pieces it tightens will start to bend?

Mine have not leaked since I tightened them properly:) The trick is getting a different bolt than what Pacesetter supplies that has thread further up towards the head, so that you are able to tighten them to where they need to be.
