if i got a whisper lid and a holley powershot or kn, is that worth the money???? Need some opinions?? Just wondering if it makes enought of a difference for around $170

i think that it is worth it. the lid made a big difference with the sound for me and picked a few hps. try to get the whisper lid used off the board you will save some money that way, will cost anyware from $60-80. for the filter you will not see much diference performance wise the benifet with the k&N/holley is the are cleanable. i have heard that the holley filter seals better plus it is cheaper ;) so you could get by for like $100.

Should be worth it. I switched just the filter and it made a differance. The way I see it, even if I can 2hp that is 2 more than before. :D

I just installed mine.. Huge difference! :eek:
I noticed when getting on freeway after i installed it, it sounded like it was redlining at 3rpms.

Very simple install.

So id say its worth the 170 for power. I also like how It removes the air silentser and make they E bay not look so full.
