    Here is how to Install a Whisper Lid.

    I don't have a 98-02 fbody, but to those who do it sure seems like it would help. If I was installing a lid your instructions would help cut down the installation time. Keep up the good work. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

      Im debating on doing this with the fast toys intake package and a KN filter. Did you notice anythig after you put this new lid on?

      Oh and thanx for the step by step guide, I will be using this if I get the intake package

        definatly a good page! though its not hard to put on anyway [img]smile.gif[/img]

        as for gains, you'll "hear" the air getting sucked into your engine, and I got a little bit better throttle response. Do the rtra, filter and lid... you wont be dissappointed!

          I just shaved the fins off the inside of my air box with a dremill. A K&N with FTRA. works great.

            I noticed a big difference, sound and power.
            car is louder, thats a plus. And take off from a stop power seem to be better.

              Isn't there a gasket that comes with the filter that is like a rectangle foam peice that has a stick back that goes on the lid?
