please excuse the mess in the garage, it's turned into the jam room instead of my parking space  . i picked up a used loudmouth today w/ only 5k miles on it for $165 w/o tips. not a bad deal, it's all polished up and looks very good. one thing i didn't realize about the resonator is that there is nothing in it. this exhaust is completely free-flowing. i thought there may have been some baffles in it or something, but it's completely hollow. i can't wait to install it.

should i get the u-bend from summit or just get the actual slp install kit? if i get the u-bend, should i get 16 gauge or 18 gauge piping?

also where is everyone getting their carsound cats for under $50? i'm checking ebay and they are about $55 shipped. i know which one to get, just can't find it any cheaper on there. any feedback would be appreciated.

some guys said they got theirs for like $35 off ebay. i don't mind paying $55, but if there's a way to get it for $35 then i'd rather do that.

I was one of them....I don't remember exactly how much it was, but it was less than $45 including shipping. Just look up the part # on their website, then find some of the sellers on Ebay and ask them if they have it. Most of the auctions I've seen for them are "universal" auctions where you tell them the part # you need after the auction ends.
