I've been to several websites looking for the best price on the B&B tri-flow cat back system and have only found it as low as $644.99 at lmperformance.com But no where is it listed what pipe size the system is. Is it sized to fit the stock cat, or does it have a reducer or something in the front? I was just wondering because I was going to put in a high flow cat too, and I'd like to know what size outlet to get, 3" or 2.5". Also, is there a place to get one cheaper than I listed above? That's kinda steep...and I can't find any for sale on ebay :(

So the 2.5" still puts out the low mean sound everyone that has B&B talks about? I don't really want to lose back pressure by going to a 3" system, but I see so many people that have gone to 3" and love it. Sound is important to me, but performance is always tops. Not many places list dynos from V6 f-bodies like they do for the V8 boys :( If only there were a definitive site that showed raw numbers...2002 Black Firebird:
A4, Y87, W68, T-tops
Best NA ET: 15.16 @ 90
http://members.cardomain.com/darksde02

Call B&B and they will send you the dyno sheet for this system. It was also tested in HPP I believe, I will have to find the issue.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com

I have that sheet @ home - sorry visiting family right now - but if you want me to send you a pic of the sheet I could. If I remember correctly it added like prolly 15 avg horses to the #'s across the board - I could be wrong but I know some #'s were high - some lower. Avg was like 15 I think - i'll post it this weekend. Anyways were you interested in my B&B? Let me know.

I'm not sure at this point if I want a 3" system. I'm going to talk to my mechanic (friend of the family) tomorrow and see what he thinks. I'll let you know within a day or so. I am assuming your's is a 3" system since you have a 3" cat I would appreciate the dyno chart though, thanks2002 Black Firebird:
A4, Y87, W68, T-tops
Best NA ET: 15.16 @ 90
http://members.cardomain.com/darksde02
