  • SLP Ram air, yes I searched

Looking into buying one of these ram air kits from SLP. I already have a whisper lid and a K&N filter, I was wondering if i'm going to see any noticable gains from it. How many horses are we talking here...it says up to 15 but I know better. Also, will this cause my filter to get really dirty fast?

do the free ram air mod and go from there. From my experience with the FRA is that yes your filter will be a little dirtier faster. The gains are semi noticable. i noticed a small increase in throttle response at higher speeds.

I personally would just do the Free Ram Air mod. There are others that have done the CAI, and maybe noticed a tiny difference. To me, it's not really worth it.

You might see 1 hp extra at high speed over a FRA setup.

Yes, your filter will get dirty much faster with either CAI or FRA.

FWIW, there are a few posts about it. It's usually called CAI more often than Ram Air.
