What do they do and where can I find them??

any exhaust shop will carry them. basically, they make your exhaust sound smoother and quieter. These can be used to tune the exhaust sound a lot. dual resonator tips will smooth out the sound a little as wellas quiet it. Quad tips will smooth it out and quiet it down a bit more. The tips are basically glasspacks. the good thing is, they won't ever blow out cuz of the car, but if you spray water in there while they're hot, you'll ruin them. What I mean by spraying water, I mean w/ a hose or something that'll get a lot of water in there. Rain, or a car wash won't hurt them at all.

Thanks for the info. Now I know what to get for my exhaust to smooth the sound.
