Every exhaust place i talk to they say they dont make 2.75" exhaust pipe. Correct me if im wrong, but dont the SS and TA have stock 2.75" pipes.
So what if some one bring their TA/SS in and wants to put stock pipes back on. Does the exhuast place tell them they dont make the pipes and can't do it?
If they really don't have 2.75" should I go 3" or 2.5" Im not planning on doing any TC/SC/ or N02
They do have 2.75" pipes, a lot of people here have them. If you don't get those then I would just go with 2.5" because you will lose some backpressure with 3" pipes.
WHICH ONE DO I REPLY TO? YOU HAVE TWO IDENTICAL TOPICS!
They (V8 F-bodies have 2.75" and the SS/WS.6 has 3"). Ok I have 2.75" piping.../looks under car/ yep it's there.
The way to go is 2.5" NA and 3" for forced induction/N2O. I wasn't sure at the time so I figured I'd go for in the middle! ;)
Plus I like the sound mine makes with 2.75". My buddy has the same system as me but with a 2.5" catback and to me it doesn't sound as good...but it's definately DIFFERENT.
edit: about losing backpressure...non-existent for me. Those who know my car, it has wicked low-end and do I mean WICKED.
