ok....i have a 98 camaro with the 2.5" magnaflow catback exhaust...im looking to add headers, intake and possibly a high flow cat. For the intake im looking at the K and N off ebay for 315$ which removes the complete airbox...second i was looking at the ceramic coated pacesetter headers...and im not picky on the high flow...anything will suit me....anyways if i were too add headers...the intake and cat. would there be a noticable difference?

if you are gonna do the headers and cat you will also need the "S" pipe unless your cat back already came with it. As for cats the catco works really good and its only like 50$. There would be a difference in performance as well. You will also need an 02 simulator, i got one brand new in the box never been opened for sale. Ill give it to you for 20$

my catback already came with it....i have it mounted up to the stock cat right now which i had to mod cause the stock S pipe is welded onto the cat...and i drilled and welded the 02 sensor into the S pipe also...

Seems like your ready to go then, get a high flow catalytic converter thats the same size as your cat back so you dont bottle neck it. You are gonna need an 02 sim like I said, unless you like the bright ses light all the time ;D.

I hope you don't spend 315 dollars on an intake.

Yes it does, but dont get the ram air yet. What you need is a whisper lid. I got mine for like 50 bucks used off ebay. Get that, then the ram air and you will have a nice intake setup.

That is WAY too much money for intake. No matter how much you spend on it you're still getting the same effect, removing all restrictions and pulling in more air.

yah i did the intake mod to mine already...took the fins off the stock lid and removved the bottom of the air box but i still have the stock paper filter....i wanna remove the air muffle between the box and the throttle body but i have a 98 and the throttle body is angeled so im having trouble trying to figure out a setup to have it go straight to the air box instead of the step-up design they have...that would also help along with a k and n filter then the ram air
