what is it? I see a lot of you guys have custom catbacks and that you put together your own S Pipe and I pipe. But what about the pipe that goes over the rear axel?

I was told that a 3" pipe will not fit, but it has to b/c people have 3" cat-backs. Unless over the axle they drop down to 2.75 I was also told taht would fit

The Edelbrock cat-back kit does have a 3" pipe over and around the rear. It is 2 pieces. The "I" pipe gets reduced about half way, to accept the small dia pipe on the v6's. Just cut off the reduced part and weld on a 3" section, about 2' worth, and you'll have a total 3" mandrel bent system.
