whenever i rev the car up to like 4500 it makes this wierd rattling/crackling/anger bee's on steroids? its definatly from the exhuast but i dont know wat it is. this is with my stock exhuast to not the masters

A baffle may have broken loose inside of the muffler, causing the strange rattle. Replacement is basically the only way to fix it.

It could be your license plate rattling. Seriously, that happened to me, it was the same noise you described. Where the bottom bolts would go, there were no holes in the car so it just rattled. It sounded like an exhaust problem though.1999 FirebirdComment

Doesnt the rev-limiter kick in around 4500 in neutral? Is this what you might be hearing?
