Ok, I've had my loudmouth for like a year now and now my cats going out. I searched and found out that I should get one with a rear o2 boss for the sensor or if it throws codes, an o2 sim.
Question is, Meinike installed my exhaust and I didn't buy the installation package for the Loudmouth so Meinike custom fabbed the pipe that comes in the kit. Would it work if I just bought a 3''in/out carsound cat w/ rear o2 bung? Thanks
Is the S bend 3" or did they just adapt the front exhaust pipe to the stock s bend?
If so they should be able to fab-up a new s bend.
The Carsound/Magnaflow cat I just ordered is,
PN-94039 it has the O2 bung made right in.
you dont need to get one with the bung. just get a regular 3in cat w/o o2 bung and w/o a.i.r. it will almost certainly throw a code although some dont, but most do.
just buy a sim to replace the sensor.

I thought the o2 sim hooked up in the bung thing. So all I really need is just any 3'' in/out cat and if i get a code just get the sim. To answer the first question, im not sure how they did it, i know they made some kind of pipe because there was an additional $17 fee.

then why do you have it listed in your sig? i said some dont, but most do need a sim.
the sensor screws into the bung. the on the back of the sensor is some wire then it goes to a connector. all you do is unplug it and then plug in the sim.

, I'll give it another week or two, and if it doesn't I shall sell it.
