• Muffler Question

I am looking for a muffler that is the best bang for the buck. I am looking at a Flowtech Afterburner muffler from Summit. Any other Opinions??

Had a pair of those on my last truck, pretty good sound, but not as loud as I would have liked.

flowmaster does not add hp/tq.
the only thing its good for is sound
(which isnt that great)

Ummm...where did you get that idea? </font>
thats not entirely true. it will add hp and tq but it wont give you the best gains compaired to other aftermarket catbacks. they are great for sound though i loved my flows on my 3.4L.

from what ive read flowmaster isnt that great of a flowing system, but saying that it wont add any power to a stock v6 is

for v8s it wont add much over the stock exhaust maybe a couple hp and tq as compaired to lets say slp loudmouth which flows alot better and gives you better gains.
