Whatever floats your boat on the posting stuff. To each his own I guess. Just remember that if everyone took your approach, this board wouldn't be too useful
I believe you traded you Loudmouth for a GMMG so you paid Loudmouth prices. But to the rest of the people reading this, paying $700 for a GMMG and then hacking it up to use with duals is a very poor approach. You could do the entire dual, x-pipe setup for less than that while still using chambered mufflers. And if you want to tell me you are going to use the complete GMMG system without cutting it then it is probably better that you don't post your ideas. You would probably prove your concerns right with everyone bashing you for running duals back into a single pipe.
I am actually interested in how an X-pipe system with chambered mufflers would sound on a V6. If that is going to be your end result, however you decide to approach it, I hope it turns out well. I love the slightly muted sound of X-pipe systems on the V8 cars I have heard, they removed some of the raspyness of some catback systems that don't appeal to me. I hope you have a good result with yours.
