I have the SLP CAI completely installed, everything is fine except for one problem - the sensor that goes into the elbow is stretched to the max... I'm worried that it will cause problems being stretched so far or may just be ripped apart at the top of the sensor where the wire comes in.. Do they make extensions for this or do I need to cut the casing and split some of the wiring apart to buy an extra inch?
What I did on mine was open up the black piece holding that wire together with the other one. If you take that piece off, the wire should go out just far enough to fit without any problems.
Yeah, I started doing that last night.. But I didn't completely remove the black casing, so maybe if I do it'll help... The wires that go to the other side were also taped to the ones going to the sensor in the elbow, so it didn't help much.. But I'll have to try and get the electrical tape off there and see what I can do.
