I talk to him all the time, and if it turns out good, I'm going up in two weeks to get mine done. So I'm just as excited as Dominic to hear what it sounds like.

fyi, I hears a mustang 3.8 w/duals and it wasn't that great at all.. in fact it was worse than the best y-pipe setup. It had a lot of flutter and sounded like a lawnmower/helicopter hybrid.

I don't have high expectations for the sound Dominic but someone has to be a first to find out what really happens.
<hr></blockquote>

Yea i ahve heard the true dual set up on the 3.8 mustangs too and each one taht i have heard sounds like crap. On the other, the 3.8 in the F-body has a different firing order than the one in the mustang sound it is going to sound a whole lot different. I have heard older 3.8s (pior series 2) with true duals and they sound really good. I think Dom will be pleased with the sound but to make it sound killer he would need some headers.

I have heard plenty of Stang 3.8's with true duals.

Heard some that sound terrible, heard plenty that sound *great*

I think dom will be pleased as well. Though I think an h or x pipe would have helped performance.

Ok, who wants to guess at the lack of postage?

My guess is that he is sitting in his car revving it with a blank stare & a little drool.

Anyone else?

Its been installed.

It is very good.

I have lost my voice and I am very tired and Im running to KK Donuts to further enjoy my true dual system.

It is also very loud too But I think its great.

I will send pics (I took ~40) and soundclips in the morning. Its done guys, just be patient :D And yes, its everything I thought it would be, and no it doesn't sound like crap. Oh yeah, no rasp either, to all those who told me to use a crossover... well... they can kiss my true dual a$$

• Okay here is the summary:

The system sounds wonderful. Its almost like a nascar, it just rumbles and throats and is incredible to drive. It took a little driving to get the slight rasp out, but now its 100% gone... (50miles of driving did it...)

Here's the awesome:
1 - No SES Light. I drove well over 120 miles so far and its happy as a lark.
2 - I reused the mandrel bent stock S-pipe, I knew it would be good for something :D
3 - The system is loud but is rasp free, really cool to hear.
4 - All the piping used was 14 gauge alum steel, just like the mufflers, very stiff and I can benchpress the car its held on so well.

Here's the few little things I noticed I need to fix:
1 - The piping over the axle is 1mm too close to the heatshield. I think my BFH will take care of it... Only when I go over a severe speed bump will it lightly clack, otherwise no issues whatsoever... I didnt know about this issue til I went over the HUMONGOUS speed bumps I have in my complex.
2 - The piping that was done (as you'll see in the photos if the server doesn't die) is a little bit off center. He centered it to the frame instead of the bumper, so yeah its like 3" off on the left... I will have that taken care of soon.
3 - It does drone. Not at 70, but at like 80/85mph around 2500RPM... It isnt horrid, I mean music will conquer it, but its a lot easier to cruise at 70-76mph right now. However, I think I can get rid of that with some $30 bullet resonators in the rear... which will come later and won't cost much in comparison to the whole system.

Overall, man I couldn't be happier. My drive to the Krispy Kreme was awesome and it definetly turns heads. Heard a Z28 with a flowmaster on it, and my car sounds far better... yet its only a cute little 6

I hope more of you can ride with me and experience it. There should be enough photos for anyone to have a competant exhaust shop do what I did on mine. I will post a sound clip just as soon as I can, I know how anxious some of you are to hear it.
