Well I think I was privliged to hear Dom's exhaust first...let me just say...I think he made the right decision. Very throaty at idle and through the low RPM's.....this is his first soundclip so he did not get to soundclip the exhaust in the upper rpm's

I agree with Dom that Resonators will need to be added. I can imagine an aggressive cam with his setup. Should be sweet........

• Not too bad, but then again, it is brand new.
Needs to burn in.
Resonators are necessary! ;)

• Holy crap!?!?! I don't come here much anymore but I saw your idea about the dual exhaust when you were first pondering out I guess. Back a while, probably like beginning of this year, toast and I came up with this same exact plan for a dual exhaust setup. Of course with different parts, but the idea of running 2 pipes down the side of eachother. Of course we can't take credit because I never did it. My car had to be inspected with an exhaust on it and little did I know with obd2 cars you just can't have an SES code (get around that with resetting your pcm just in time, lol). Anyway let's here it man!!! I have a site with space on it to host. www.silentsystem.net i have my vid of my flow system on there. Send me the clip and i'll host it for ya. Talk to me on aim, my name is xxzennxx

• Yeah I have no fear I can make it a lot nicer sounding with the resonators. I had summit send them overnight (whee) and so they will be here Oct 2nd.

I want to let you all know I read every single post on here and try to respond to it all. Don't feel like your question or comment will get lost in the pages, because I read all of it.

• Dom, first of all congrats on being a pioneer with the true duals. Automatic respect right there. So far it sounds really good. It does sound really good so far, can't wait to hear what it sounds like up in the higher RPM's and with the resonator. Down low it reminds me a lot of the Borla with it half open...only deeper. Once again, congrats.

• Hmm. Sounds pretty good. Now just imagine what it would sound like on a 3.4L.

• Where is the WOT?????

From what I heard, I think headers, ORP and B&B sounds nicer.

That "flutter" could be because of the cats.

Do some WOT blasts.. and some fly by's

• First off, props to you for being the first to take on this project. If I were you I would get the X-Pipe put on there, Dr. Gas has a really nice x-crossover you can buy for about 70 bucks, that should really clean up and mellow out your exhaust note like you want, better than anything else would. It's deffinetly the best V6 I've ever heard but the sound really isn't my taste, granted that's probably from where I've gotten used to the V8 sound over the past couple of months. Still man, major props, it's deffinetly the best sounding V6 out there.

http://www.drgas.com/

Check out Dr. Gas's X-pipe, it will make a world of difference in the sound quality.

• My highest rev was all of 3500rpm/ My neutral limiter is 4500rpm. I know the clip isnt the best, its one of those you gotta ride in it sounds to really hear it, but its as good as I can get.

I might put a crossover on in the future, but Im taking it one step at a time. The clip was made outside a few feet from the car at bumper level, not ear level.

I appreciate the compliments.

And Magnus, thats fine if you like that better. I dont do WOT revs at people like a ricer would, I didnt design my system for that, and I dont have a way yet to record a WOT down the track type run. Hopefully that will come friday when my friend gets his video camera.

I will try to do some in car and out of car runs on a barren road to what you all think. If you get a chance and pass through tallahassee look me up, we'll go for a ride.
