It's all about pioneering, no one knows what it sounds like because no one that we know of has done it before. And we all know the only way to get something done is to do it yourself. I can't wait to hear it.

Ahh here's the post I expected

Accomplish: Something new and never done, something unique sounding, something without rasp since the Y-pipe is the CAUSE of the rasp, and something under $500 installed... Why pay $650+install for a borla, when mine WITH CATS runs $500?

The dual 2.25" will flow just slightly better than a 3" single, but the cool part is the sound.
I've heard all the 3" singles I care to hear, I had a flowmaster on my Firebird which I liked, but I want something better and something different and I cannot find it on the market.

I'm unwilling to shell out $1000 for exhaust, and still get rasp or rice sounds. I believe this will cure those horrid noises for the most part, it will not be fake dual so nobody can rag on me about that, and it will be my own creation... something I can take pride in being first in doing

I don't mind you asking what you did, I'm not looking for better performance than a 3" pipe. If all I wanted was performance, I'd shuck the cat off mine and run open Y ...

To be brief, I hope its as good as I planned it to be, and I will be honest and truthful whether it is or is not.

Chambered mufflers typically don't rasp.

The rasp is caused by the unequal length of the Y-pipe.

Open headers rasp because they are too short to cancel out any backflow.

www.sweet-thunder.com I was going to buy from aca at first, but Mark is still the one who makes them, and he can custom configure them for you over the phone. He didnt charge me much shipping, and each muffler was $47.25.
