IMO, the loudmouth sounds better than the flows, but they BOTH sound like CRAP when he reved it up high. My dynomax doesn't sound that bad.

Tell me more shortdog. I was thinking the same when i heard thoes sound clips and i am alittle scared on getting the catco cat because i do not want my exhaust to sound like that. How bad does your exhaust sound when you rev it and when it does get rasby is it deep or high piched?

both those sound deeper than mine at idle, but overall, after hearing those, i'm definitly glad i went with dynomax. its nothing great at high rpms but it's not ricey, sounds like stock just a little louder. the loudmouth sounds bada$$ down low.

Funny how all of you people talk about how an exhaust sounds while the engine has NO LOAD on it.

                ROTFL!

Anyone want VIDEOS of 2 WOT, top of second gear, passes with a Loudmouth?! Or, one straight-on rear video WOT to to top of second?

                The sound is TOTALLY different.

I'd love to hear what your Flowmaster exhausts and such sound like when revved to ~3000 in neutral while the car isn't moving, LMFAO! Trust me, I've heard it before. Stop judging an exhaust by what it sounds like while stopped and under no load...

pgriffith: i know what you mean. i don't have the headers, but i have everything else, and my flowmaster just sounds amazing. even underload it sounds good. just don't rev it up fast, go slowly up the RPM's. its nice.

membmers Ted and Toast can tell you that mine sounds good. its a lot better underload.

                      With headers, Y-pipe, and a high-flow cat, I'd certainly hope so! :D ;)

I've heard Stefan's; I can only imagine what yours sounds like...

I don't care for that sound too much at all. No offense, of course.

But why tell people not to judge the exhaust when it's revved in neutral, but that's all there is for people with to hear? "Here, listen to this but don't say anything about it."

I think a cut-out sounds better than that on a sixer and it's way cheaper. IMHO, naturally. But to each their own.

the exhaust sounds much better underload. though i do say it sounds better in lower rpms also it sounds better if i climbed the rpm band slower than what i did for the clip... one thing is for sure it is loud

Why say I think it's stupid for everyone to poorly judge an exhaust sound clip of our cars revving under no load?

Because your engine only sounds like that in neutral, while not moving, and not under load. When exactly in life does that actually happen?

                            That's right...never.

I still have those three vids if anyone's interested.
