the setting is a cool night
so i ran it open with the screen and sure enough it stalled whenever i came to a stop, and didnt run all that great during regular driving. i didnt try gunning it cuz i was headed to a night class.

so why is that, not enough pressure or sumtin

after class i replace the rubber adapter things and my home depot intake but leave off the lid and filter, btw what is the sensor in that odd shaped adapter right after the lid-thot that may be the reason it stalled and pluged it in, but it stalled ne way one time. i gun it in second and have never felt my car pull so hard. although theres a somewhat loud swooshing noise while gunning it and also during shifts.

and this thread says the cone on the TB is not as good as a lid. have they tried what i did?

that sensor is exactly why your car was running rough and dying.

Sounds like the sensor he is talking about is the IAT that shoudlnt affect it.

Try it again but wrap it around the ABS module..

but yeah when you hit the gas hard then come off it hward the car will stall alot. but if you compression break with the car and don't let the rpms drop to fast you will be fine.

get the air temp simulator, that way you can do what ever you want with your intake.

don't get that crap, just put it off to the side or buy a freaking $0.07 resistor.

I can 99.9% gurantee its not realted to your IAT.

ok i have the Service Engine Soon light on now. i ran it with no lid or filter a few times more, is the light on because of that and how serious? was thinking of just pulling that fuse like when i did the free ram air.
