Is there a guide anywhere online for this. I am not quite sure of all the steps i need to do to make this work right. I heard there was a way to take that plastic part that is blockin the way out so that it can be used again. So yeah. I'd like to see a guide for this install. Thanks,

more than likely you are going to have to cut the plastic a little bit i did, and even if you do have to take the cai kit out for whatever reason the plastic you cut will not have any ill effect on the car, that is unless you are super anal retentive and can't stand the idea of cut plastic that you nor anybody else will ever see unless they remove the airbox

Dude, in a previous post you talk about the FTRA you just installed on your car. Now your talking about the crappy instructions for the SLP CAI you want to install. I noticed you have the FTRA in your signature. So which is it, or is this someone elses car?

yeah... i thought it was a SLP RA kit at first, because my friend wrecked his Z28 and took that off and gave it to me. I thought it was a SLP, but he told me it was fast toys.

Cool, I make the SSRA. I also make the Super Sucker scoop for the FTRA and SLP cold air induction kits. LM Performance sells them for me. Check it out.

Are you talking about the plastic piece in the airbox bottom or those POS that are in front of the radiator? The ones in front of the radiator just pop out, they have a few plastic screws or something you can jam out with a screwdriver and a little effort. You have to cut up the bottom of the airbox though, or whats the point of trying to get more air?! I have the SSRA and I still think its the best setup overall, and its plastic. I even went so far as to duck tape it into place and weatherstriped all the way around the bottom of the airbox where I cut away at the plastic. It works so well now, fully functional is the only way to go
