2.5 it came with a resonator to so i was happy. although at first i had no idea where it went. apparently under the passenger back seat there is a little cavity that it fits in. i get it back this afternoon but until then i have to ride in the friends mustang awww

That was the best install article I have seen in a long time.

A++ for the link! I suggest anyone thinking about installing this muffler system should read this one. It is REALLY in depth.

ya i actually saw it somewhere else before i was going to install it but i ended up just taking it to a local shop and paying them(got a GREAT deal). anyways he told me all about the installation and he said it was a B I T CH. he told me how many problems he had with one of the tips being farther out and not even with the other. he had to cut it again a pull some of his own custom stuff out. only problems was he had to move the actual muffler to the right so everything would be even but now when i make somewhat hard left turns it taps up against some of that stuff that goes in your wheel well. you now the stuff they spray in it.... anyways im happy and am really happy about how deep the sound it. cuz it is DEEEEPPP. i actually had an SS pull next to me today and in idle i could here me car over his!!! but when we got on it i could still here my car considerably but it didnt have the same tone as his(but i didnt expect it to). it sounds great and i recommened this product to anyone who wants a loud car that isnt annoyingly loud.

Yeah my flowmaster sounded pretty poor when i got it. and i actually went back and asked for something different.. but the guy at the muffler shop told me that after about 400 miles or so.. the muffler breaks in and mellows out... i love the way it sounds now minus the rasp.

That is very true. After I had mine for a month it mellowed out, got alot louder (but not too loud), and alot deeper. To tell you the truth, the first day I got it back from the shop I was disappointed it was so quiet. But like I said after about a month and 500 miles it now sounds awesome.

Thanks to that little resonator there is also virtually no rasp until I get around 4,000 rpm. I definately recommend this system.

ya the rasp is completely gone until 4000 just like J.T. but does it loose the somewhat low pitch ricer sound? i dont hate it cuz it is REALLY LOW but it has that muwhoooooooooo sound lol. i tried my best.
