  • Getting new exhaust: Magnaflow or Dynomax or Spintech!

Well, I'm ditching the Borla, it's been nothing but hell since I got it.

Right now I have my eyes set on a Magnaflow catback, or a Dynomax catback with superturbo muffler, or a Spintech muffler (with 3" piping from the cat back)

    My questions are:

    1. What does the dynomax sound like verses the Magnaflow and Spintech?

    2. What do they sound like at 2,500 - 4,000 RPMS?

    3. Is there lots of popping/farting noises when the gas is released?

I have a 3" catco hiflow cat and a whisper lid.

gonna sell your borla? i wouldn't mind trading you mufflers...with a little cash on my side. i already got the pipes and tips coming in, but i'd like the muffler. i have a single in/out magnaflow and i like it a lot...just gotta have the dual though, if ya know what i mean.

Personally I don't much like the Magnaflow sound. I'm going to try the Dynomax SuperTurbo. I know I've been saying that for a long time ;) but I'm finally going to schedule it for install this week...

        1. havn't heard any but dynomax

        2. dynomax between 2.5-4 sounds a little deeper and louder than stock, but not much. (tho mines only been on a week, so it hasn't properly worn in) i think with full cat back and new cat it would probably sound much better, i plan to do that in the future

        3. no farting or poping w/ dynomax

Dynomax. Sounds like the flows at idle with a highflow cat also.

i have a high flow cat.. didn't really do much for me but increase the rice between shifts, and screw the computer up.

i'm not interested much of the idle sound, i'm worried about the rice at mid to high rpms
