do i need to get new exhaust piping for this muffler to work? i think it will just bolt on to the factory piping. i think the inlet is larger than the factory piping, but my installer has an enlarger to make it fit as long as it's close. (i.e. not trying to fit a 2" pipe to a 3" pipe) how big is the inlet size on the muffler? my installer needs to know. thanks guys. please be quick i want to get this over with and installed

so youre getting a new ws6 muffler? i believe the piping on the ws6 is 2.75 inches. your stock piping is 2.25, and i would suppose that would be the size of the inlet on the stock muffler. the ws6 muffler would be 2.75 inlet or i guess maybe 2.5, i dunno for sure. either way they should be able to use reducers, or just weld it in. it shouldnt be a problem

It's cut directly at the muffler, and they just weld it to the stock over-axle pipe.
I'd advise against ordering it if you haven't already, though.
