my exhaust rattles but only on start up, for about a minute, then it goes away. is it maybe my muffler just warming up or something? anyone ever had this problem?

maybe its your y-pipe that could be a little lose then it is warming up and sealing. mine does this but it doesnt rattle, it leaks

the cat is a few months old, and it sounds like its coming from further back than the y-pipe. i might just put it up on jacks and start it and look around. any other ideas?Dave:

i have the same problem. it goes away once you rev it a little and it warms up. maybe a loose exhaust clamp?'99 Camaro Y87 M5 T-tops
