I need a little help on what induction mod I should get....keep in mind I can only get one at the moment. I looking at a SLP cold air induction kit, or a whisper air box lid. I'm wondering which would be the best to get first. I am totally stock and this will be my first mod.

well, i just ordered a high flow air lid and a cold air induction kit. havent recieved em yet, but if i had to choose just one, id get the high flow air lid with k&n air filter. just me though. to me the air lid just sets the stage for d*mn near anything else youd want to do (umm, excluding forced induction ) i mean you could get the cold air kit, but on a stock airbox with a paper filter and mininal air flow, not to mention the air baffles and restrictions that i have no idea what was behind GM's million dollar enginering dept., i just see it more benificial in the long run to get the high flow air box. i mean, i wouldnt buy the nitrous kit and install it first and then buy the cat-back exhaust system later :D . so theres my .02 and i hope your pleased with your new product, which ever your decide. between your two choices, anythings better than stock ;) !2001 camaro v6 red convertable<br /> ggotta go fast...
