Ok, got out to Exhaust Works in Tucson to have them weld in my new system:
Carsound 94009 3" cat
2 3" 45* mandrel bends to replace S-pipe
2.5" back to the overaxle
stock overaxle
Dynomax Ultraflo SS 17266 (2.5" in, dual 2.5" out)
2.5" pipe to dual/dual slash tips
Note that the mishmash of sizing was based on my backpressure calcs (see my post a few weeks ago in Advanced Tech) and not being able to find a full length 2.5" mandrel I-pipe (which I'm roughly equivalent too). Needed to keep more low end for autocrossing.
I was smiling like a madman after a couple nice WOT runs. Can't hear rice up top with the windows down. Volume is moderate-loud WOT, but cuts down to a small drone when cruising. Good idle. Only sounds bad revving in neutral, but I expected that. SOTP gains. No SES with 100 miles of cruising today.
I'll get some good burn-in driving 80mph for the 60 miles each way on the interstate to the autocross in the morning, plus the racing itself. Then I'll get some sound clips posted.
