    Yikes! Those were pretty bad. Infact, they almost look they could use another cleaning yet.

    How many miles were on those since the last cleaning? If I recall you are supposed to clean them on the same interval you'd change a normal one at (10,000mi) right?

    At my rate, now that I got a beater car, it will be an easy two years before that happens now. So I figure a good cleaning and reoiling every spring should do just fine.

      I bought them used, and they looked a little dirty, not really too bad. I should have cleaned them before I put em in, but I was anxious, so I'm not sure how many miles are on them since there last cleaning. I would guestimate maybe 20k?
