just out of curiosity mainly(was wondering at work today) if i were to go with a 98+ front end conversion then would i also be able to add the lid type intake like 98+ cars or would i be stuck with the pre97 intake setup?

I don't know if it has the cross member to attach the airbox to. I have not seen a pre98 engine compartment upclose. It may be impossible to get air up from in front of the radiator too.98 Bright Red Camaro
Too many mods to list....check my website

the cross member doesn't have anything to do with the airbox... the fronts are basically setup the same, you need to get the lower airbox, remove the black plastic shroud and it should just slip on, you may have to drill a few holes... bolt it down, and with a little work it should fit just fine... but you will need to go with the 93-98 style lid, because of the angled intake...
