is it just me or is the vent hose for the whisper lid a piece of junk? for what you pay for the lid you would think the 4" hose would look beter with cleaner edges and a flater sealing area.any one swap this hose out for something that looks and seals better? please let me know
The '98 had a unique intake design with the angled throttle body. The Whisper Lid configuration may be a litte awkward compared to the '99+. If you want a cleaner looking appearance you may want to get creative at Home Depot.
Yes my brother bought one and it was crap. He had to get another hose from a hardware store. Just got a nice black one and it looks the same only better quality. ;)
