I was about to order a cutout and I did a search first to find out where to find it, and most of you (besides Kyle) have 3" I pipes and bigger cutouts. If I buy a 2.25" cutout to go on my stock piping is it gonna sound a lot worse than if I put 3" piping on? And where do you get a 3" pipe? Have the muffler dude make one?
Ok, I just talked to the muffler dude and he started talking some jazz about sensors before and after the cat??? And if he puts the cutout on before the sensor that my cat will melt or something. Do you guys know what sensor he is talking about?
yea, you cant put a cutout in front of the cat unless you buy O2 simms to make the computer think that the cat is working. One O2 syn. reads the oxygen beforet he cat and one reads it after. This tell the car that it is working as it should. If you put in your cutout before the cat, the computer will give you a SES light.
