rattle/rumble/pop/backfire noise

Ok i have a magnaflow in my car. At least thats what i think it is. As far as i have seen the magnaflow is the only one that looks like my exhaust. Of course it might just be a flowmaster already with big *** tips on it. Witch i love btw they are 3" chrome tips. But the tips look like they came on the exhaust.

Anyway when i am driving and i let my foot off the gas in order to use the trans to slow down. There is all kinds of god awful sounds coming out of the exhaust. Does anyone have any clue as to what this could be. I might just get a new exhaust (flowmaster) but my magnaflow is loud as hell and it makes my v6 sound alot like a v8.

no matter what exhaust you get on the v6 it will always pop/rattle, etc etc.

in FACT - ive even heard Z28's pop with certain exhaust systems. if you wanna get a performance exhaust on your v6 you'll just have to learn to live with it. i do know however -- that a resonator may help.

might wanna look into that.

Would all that popping and rattling stop if you put on P&P heads/P&P intakes and a cam?
